Rent a vehicle
There are many vehicle rental companies you can use to rent a vehicle. We recommend renting one because Naxos hasn’t the best public transport and you can discover many hidden gems around the island. The cost varies 30-60€ depending on the vehicle and the period.
Taxi
Taxi fee to and from Orkos is standard 40-50€ charge and it’s best to avoid it. If it’s absolutely necessary you can use Uber where you can use as address Orkos Blue Waves and it will leave you just outside the studio.
Bus
Bus is a good option to travel but pay attention to the timetable that changes often. You can find the timetable in the website www.naxosbuses.com. The line leading to Orkos is the orange-red line as shown in the photo below.
The studio is located uphill 4 minutes walk away of Orkos stop. Orkos stop is between Plaka bus stop and Mikri Vigla bus stop. Plaka and Mikri Vigla bus stops are a 20 minute walk from the studio but have more frequent buses all day long especially, the Plaka bus stop.
